During activities related to exercise Quick Response 2024, a Dutch EUFOR patrol witnessed a traffic accident south of Olovo.
Our troops stopped to assist those involved in the accident and the patrol’s Combat Live Saver member – a soldier trained to provide advanced first aid and life saving procedures – tended the injuries of one of them.
The Dutch patrol stayed on the scene until the arrival of the ambulance and the local police. To highlight the importance of supporting local authorities and all people in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), COM EUFOR Major General László Sticz awarded the members of the patrol with a coin.
