Dialogue, cooperation and a strong local connection remain at the heart of EUFOR’s engagement across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

EUFOR Commander, Major General Maurizio Fronda, visited Prijedor and Kozarska Dubica, meeting with local authorities to exchange views on developments in their communities and the wider security environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In Prijedor, Major General Fronda met with a local representative of the Municipality of Prijedor. Their discussion focused on issues of local importance, the broader security situation, and the importance of maintaining open channels of communication between EUFOR and local authorities.

The COM EUFOR then travelled to Kozarska Dubica, and held a meeting with a senior representatives of this municipality. The meeting offered another opportunity to listen, exchange perspectives and strengthen the direct relationship between EUFOR and the local community.
For EUFOR, engagement does not stop at the gates of its bases. Regular contact with mayors, local institutions and communities across the country provides a better understanding of the local environment, strengthens cooperation and builds trust.
Through continued dialogue and a visible presence throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, EUFOR remains committed to working alongside local authorities and contributing to a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
