This month, COMEUFOR Major General Alexander Platzer, completed his tour of the EUFOR Liaison Observation Teams. EUFOR maintains a network of 17 Liaison and Observation Teams (LOT) throughout BiH which liaise with the local community and help to ‘feel the pulse’ of the situation.

In the month of June COMEUFOR conducted visits to the LOT House grouped together by region, this was achieved with the assistance and use of facilities of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH). This exemplified the positive professional relationship between both organisations.
At the commencement of each regional group a brief was delivered by AFBiH, updating on current information relevant to the AFBiH within the region. After the AFBiH briefs, EUFOR briefs to the LOT Houses began . In total the tour consisted of four regional briefs with the LOT House network and was very beneficial for all involved.
