The Slovak Republic contributes significantly to EUFOR Operation Althea providing both Headquarters staff and personnel for the EUFOR Liaison and Observation Teams (LOT) on the ground. Three EUFOR LOT Houses in Novo Sarajevo, Foca and Visegrad are operated by the Slovak soldiers. They are a vital part of EUFOR's presence in local communities across the country to contribute to the safe and secure environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
