EUFOR held its annual Quick Response exercise between 24th August and 16th September 2024.
The purpose of the exercise was to demonstrate EUFOR’s readiness and confirm its continued support to its BiH partners in the maintenance of a safe and secure environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The large scale training event involved in-theatre troops from all 23 nations of EUFOR who were temporarily augmented by Austrian, Hungarian and Romanian reserve forces. This year EUFOR was supported by the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the conduct of this exercise, who provided EUFOR with locations to carry out this training.
